Experience at NSU
–McNair Research Scholar – I was invited into the McNair scholars research program at NSU after my presentation about of campus-living based on research that I conducted. This program allows students to enhance their skills and conduct research that can benefit more than just students. I decided to conduct research based on housing to see if I can discover data that can help both tenants and landlords in the community.
–Treasurer and Head of Fundraising of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity – Sinfonia is a National fraternity that promotes music in America and is designed to help music students prosper. I may not be a music student but I enjoy what this fraternity does and what it stands for. One of our favorite things to do as a music group is to go assisted living or nursing homes and sing to the residents.
President of the Taekwondo Club – Not only have I learned self-defense through this club, it also taught me a lot about the recruitment process. As president, one responsibility I have is keeping the club operable. This means doing the nesessary paperwork to stay recognized as a club and recruiting enough members. This club has taught me a lot about the recruitment process in particular.
Work Experience
In addition to bodywork and part restoration, a skill that I am most proud of is the ability to install after-market LED kits on cars and motorcycles. This is challenging as each vehicle has its own unique set of requirements.

One thing I love about teamwork is that with the right people, it’s not really “work” at all. One of my weekend past-times is to get two or more of my friends together and we work together to make something better. Below is a picture of a Bradly GT we are tinkering with.

One of the most fullfilling jobs that I know how to do would be painting houses. Whether it’s by myself or with a team, painting a house feels like I’m bringing new life back into a home.
